Ashtray Football

Equipment

1 small, hard object such as a metal ashtray or tobacco tin
A pair of trainers or similar
2 chairs

Game Description

One chair is put at each end of the course. Players sit in two lines, one each side of the course, about one metre apart and facing the centre. If possible, draw lines which they should stay behind.

The ashtray or tin is placed in the centre with the trainers. Each player is given a number, starting with at opposite ends of each team. One chair is designated as each team's goal.

When a number is called, the two players with that number each run to the centre and grab a trainer, which they use to score a goal by hitting the tin under their team's chair. They must not touch the tin with their hands. The player who scores a goal wins a point for his team.
